In August of 2008, Big Sky MINIs had its first annual "MINIs on the Beartooth" rally. It was an immense success with 14 MINI Coopers showing up. When you live in a large, relatively unpopulated, state such as Montana, this is a big deal to have so many MINIs in one rally! The rally started in Bozeman, MT and departed east on I-90 to Columbus, MT where we met up with many more MINIs from Billings, MT. From there we motored to Red Lodge and ate lunch. After lunch we raced up the Beartooth Highway and into the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone while stopping several times to take photos. Amongst one of these stops, a group of tourists on a tour bus stopped to take pictures of us while ignoring the Yellowstone wildlife! We departed Yellowstone and we converged one last time in Livingston, MT.
